We are moving to a new location!
We are delighted to inform our fellow Leica enthusiasts that the Leica Store Amsterdam, located at Van Baerlestraat 16-H since September 2017, will be moving to a new location. During June-August we will be working hard to finalize our new Leica Store Amsterdam to further enhance the Leica brand experience and services to you. Hence our current location will be closed as of May 27th 2023.
Our service to you during the relocation process
We try to be as flexible as possible and therefore offer you the possibility to make use of our personal assistance option. In close cooperation with Transcontinenta BV, Leica's distributor in the Netherlands and owner of the Leica Store Amsterdam, we are able to continue to serve you during the relocation period. During the relocation period, our physical address and opening hours will change.

A change for the better
The new Leica Store Amsterdam with a size of 220+m2 consists of 3 levels and will have a brand new Leica design. The new store will offer a full range of Leica cameras, lenses, sport optics, accessories, and an extensive Leica Vintage area with a selection of pre-owned Leica cameras and lenses. We will also add other new Leica product categories such as Leica Cinema TV and Leica Watches to our brand portfolio.
The second floor will host the new official 'Leica Gallery Amsterdam', where we will share our passion and love for creative photography at the highest level. The 70m2 space will offer prominent Leica photographers and emerging new talents the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Effective September 2023 the new Leica Store Amsterdam address will be:
Van Baerlestraat 74, 1071 BA Amsterdam.
(As a point of reference, this is right across from the ‘Stedelijk Museum’).
We recognize that our move may cause some unforeseen challenges. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are more than confident that you will be impressed by our new Leica Store Amsterdam in a few months time, as it is certainly a change for the better.
