When you place an order online with the Leica Store Amsterdam via leicastoreamsterdam.nl, you can also decide to pick up your order at the Leica Store Amsterdam personally or have it shipped to an address of your choice. Shipment of your order is possible within Europe and most of the countries around the world on request via our webshop.
When a product is in stock, we will ship it within 2-3 business days within Europe. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays there will be no shipments. If a product is not in stock or not immediately available the delivery time is extended accordingly. Please contact us for the exact delivery time. Orders to other countries take a little more time. Here too, contact us for the exact delivery time and cost.
Leica Store Amsterdam shall take care to deliver your purchases within the period indicated on the website. Nonetheless, the times indicated on the website are indicative only. Leica Store Amsterdam shall not be liable in any way if delivery takes place at a later date. Exceeding the term of delivery and/or exceeding the term of thirty days upon placement of the order, shall not automatically place Leica Store Amsterdam in default.
Our preferred forwarder is UPS. We will use UPS Express Saver as our primary shipping method to make sure you recieve your order safe and sound, wherever you are in the world.
If the forwarder does not succeed in delivering your order at the first attempt, he will leave a message, indicating information about the courier unit where your order is being held. Unless otherwise instructed by you, the forwarder shall return the next business day and once more leave a message if delivery was unsuccessful.
If the second delivery attempt also fails, a note will be left giving you all the information in order for you to contact the carrier and find a convenient solution to get the parcel. The parcel will remain at the carrier facilities for 10 business days; if no instruction is received from you within this time frame, the parcel will then be returned to sender.
All items are insured by Leica Store Amsterdam until they have been delivered at your address. If the package being delivered is obviously damaged on the outside, you should refuse the delivery. We will then re-arrange a new shipment as soon as the package is returned to us.
Any complaints regarding the state in which goods have been delivered (including missing tags) must be made to Leica Store Amsterdam no later than two working days upon receipt of the goods by e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +31(0)20 2382192.
Shipping costs depend on the chosen delivery method, the composition of your order and the country of delivery. The table below gives an overview of the shipping costs per region. Attention: these costs are inclusive of 21% VAT, apply per product and vary between different products. Check your shopping cart for the exact shipping costs.
1. The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg
The shipping cost is € 4,99 for orders up to an order value of € 50,00.
From an order value of € 50,00 and above, we ship without any additional costs to the countries listed above.
2. European EU countries (i.e. Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and Spain)
The shipping costs for the European EU-countries always amount to an additional € 50,00 regardless of the order value.
3. European Non-EU countries (i.e. Norway and Switzerland) and WorldWide (to most countries but with a number of exceptions)
Please contact us first, by phone or email, for a quotation on shipping and handling cost. Cost may vary per country and product.
4. Pick up in store (available for everybody)
When you decide to pick up your order in store, no additional cost will be added to your order value. We will ship the order to the Leica Store Amsterdam and you can pick it up at your earliest convenience.
Did you order a product at the Leica Store Amsterdam online and you are not satisfied with it or would like to return it? Within 14 days you can return the product personally or send it to the fulfilment partner of the Leica Store Amsterdam. Before returning a product, you must send an email to email@example.com. Herein you will have to mention the order number, your contact details (name, phone number and address details) and the reason for the return. After you send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. with the required information, you will receive a RMA number with further instructions to return the product. Products returned without RMA number are at risk of delay.
TERMS OF REVOCATION AND RETURN RIGHT OF REVOCATION
You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of receipt and acceptance of the goods either by you or a third person appointed by you, who is not the forwarder, without stating a reason. In order to exercise your right of revocation, you must notify us accordingly in an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. Sending notification of your intention to exercise your right of revocation prior to expiry of the period of revocation shall be sufficient to comply with the period of revocation.
CONSEQUENCES OF REVOCATION
If you withdraw from this agreement, we shall refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs that arise if you have selected a form of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and within 14 days at the latest from the date on which we received the notice of revocation. For this refund we use the same method of payment used by you for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse the refund until the goods have been returned to us or until such time as you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
You must return or hand over the online ordered goods in their original state in which you have received them to the fulfilment partner of the Leica Store Amsterdam: Transcontinenta B.V., Tarwestraat 29, 2153 GE Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands, without undue delay and, at all events, within 14 days at the latest from the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal from the agreement. The deadline shall be deemed complied with if the goods are dispatched prior to expiry of the deadline (proof of which may be requested by us). The immediate costs of returning the goods shall be borne by you. You shall only be required to compensate any loss of value if said loss of value can be attributed to any unnecessary handling of the goods for the purpose of testing the condition, properties and functionality of said goods.
EXCEPTIONS OF THE RIGHT TO REVOKE
The right to revoke does not apply to the following kind of contracts:
- Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personaliZed.
- Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
- Contracts for the supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
- Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery.
- Contracts for the supply of a newspaper, periodical or magazine with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you don’t receive a refund within the stated time, check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. A certain processing time for a refund to be posted is quite common. We are not able to directly exchange goods so if you decide you would like a different product you will need to return your order and place a new one.
