Alongside the SL3-P, Leica introduces two new lenses that expand creative possibilities within the SL-System.The Leica Summilux-SL 50 f/1.4 ASPH. is the world's most compact autofocus lens at this focal length and maximum aperture. Its large aperture enables outstanding low-light performance and delivers beautiful subject isolation with natural bokeh. With a diameter of 74 mm, a length of 75.5 mm, and a weight of just 584 g, it is a remarkably portable standard lens. Eleven aperture blades, two aspherical elements, and premium glass types ensure the characteristic Leica rendering. The minimum focusing distance is 50 cm. The full metal construction meets IP54 standards, and the AquaDura coating on the front element protects against moisture and dirt.
The Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100 f/2.8 is a tribute to the legendary APO-Macro-Elmarit-R 100 f/2.8 from 1987. Its apochromatic correction delivers exceptional sharpness across the entire image field. With a minimum focusing distance of 30 cm and a maximum magnification of 1:1, it reveals details barely visible to the naked eye — while also serving as an outstanding portrait lens. The nine-blade aperture, combined with the full APO optical design, produces a smooth and harmonious background rendering. The metal body weighs 862 g including lens hood, and features AquaDura coating and E67 filter thread.
