You’ll learn how to define a visual question, translate a concept into a coherent series, and apply selection criteria that make each image earn its place. Marc will introduce approachable story structures, show how pacing and rhythm guide viewers, and demonstrate portfolio formats for web, print, and editor previews. Day one combines frameworks with a short field or home assignment; day two is dedicated to tight edits, sequencing, and live reviews so you leave with a stronger series and a roadmap for where to take it next.

Marc Prüst
Marc Prüst is a curator and researcher specializing in photography. His expertise lies in the field of photographic stories and the functioning of the photographic sector. Prüst was artistic director of festivals in France, Ghana and Nigeria, curating exhibitions for museums and festivals in a.o. The Netherlands, Italy and the United States. In addition, he worked on photo books with photographers from countries such as the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands. He is currently doing doctoral research at the University of Groningen on the photographic industry and teaches at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest.
