The dedicated Leica LUX iOS app not only offers authentic Leica Looks and digital simulations of iconic Leica lenses – such as the Summilux and Noctilux – but also advanced manual settings. This allows you to bring the signature Leica style to your mobile images, with rich colours, subtle bokeh, and classic contrast.
Under the guidance of photographer Rob van Keulen, you’ll get to know the Leica LUX Grip and Leica LUX app, install a trial of the LUX Pro app, and head straight into the streets of Amsterdam to begin shooting. You’ll learn to work intuitively with light, timing, and composition, and discover how to shoot with more control and creative intent. The focus is on mastering the LUX Grip and selecting the right tools within the Leica LUX app. A Leica LUX Grip will be provided to you for use during the workshop.
This workshop is perfect for everyone who wants to use their iPhone as a serious photographic tool and are curious to explore the unique Leica look and feel. Following the practical session, your images will be reviewed as a group, and Rob will offer tips on how to fine-tune your photos using Leica Looks and settings in the LUX app for maximum creative impact.
