Create amazing prints with the 40 MP Leica M10-R
The Leica M10-R: A 40 MP Rangefinder camera.
One of the biggest differences between the new Leica M10-R and the M10, is the increase in resolution. The M10-R features a 40 MP sensor, compared to the 24 MP sensor of the Leica M10.
This of course leads to more detail in your photos, but what exactly does ‘more detail’ look like?
The best way to experience this is, is in print. Especially in big prints, like the 150cm x 110cm prints we have on display at our Leica M10-R Experience by Rahi Rezvani. Rahi was one of the first photographers in the Netherlands to test the new M camera, and tried it out during a fashion shoot. The results of this shoot are absolutely stunning, and can now be seen at the Leica Store Amsterdam. Want to get a ‘behind the scenes’ of the shoot? You can watch Rahi at work in this video!
Leica Lenses
A 40 MP sensor means you need a lens that can render this resolution. The Leica M-lenses are well regarded as the best lenses available, and they’re the perfect match for this new M10-R. Rahi was curious to see if this new sensor could maintain the character and unique look of his Leica M lenses. As you can see in these beautiful photos, there was no need to worry! The character that is loved and cherished by so many, is maintained. For this shoot, Rahi used the SUMMILUX-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH. and APO-SUMMICRON-M 50mm f/2 ASPH.
